Behold was God’s first word to Samuel, after calling his name over & over trying to gain his attention.
To us a rejoiner,
our first response when hearing God speak should be to look, to see, to behold. Open our eyes, not just our ears. It’s often a new thing God is doing. For Samuel, God let Him know beforehand, the new thing, the shaking up time, which was just about to happen, something that would make ears tingle.
God give me eyes to see, what your words have spoken - faith. Interesting first came the Word, then the action of God, followed by faith, awe & wonder. All birthed in crazy order.
